Filters
SENS SERVICIOS offers basic filters that make your water drinkable. Depending on the quality of your tap water, this is a simple solution to obtain pure water without an extra tap.

If you have agricultural water, a basic filter won't be enough.
There are several options to treat agricultural water but it's important to analyse the water before we decide which solution is best. Depending on the composition of your water, we may also recommend installing a water softener in addition to a filter.
Clean water, our target
A simple and economical solution for drinking water is to install a carbon filter. This filters dirt, chlorine, heavy metals and certain bacteria from your water. The filter ensures that your water tastes and smells good. A carbon filter does not filter as cleanly as a reverse osmosis, but depending on the composition of yourwater, this type of filter may certainly be sufficient. The filter is placed under your kitchen sink and does not require an additional tap.

Agricultural water in Spain

Agricultural water is irrigation water that is suitable for agriculture, for crops, for watering the garden, for animals and also suitable for flushing the toilet, etc.
But it is not drinkable for humans. Without filters/water purification it is not even suitable for showering or for use in the swimming pool.
However, SENS SERVICIOS can offer solutions so that the water can be used for various purposes. Read more about water treatment of water sources at 'the campo' in Spain.
Surface water
General information
Surface water is very variable in quality, both in germs and in composition. This makes it very difficult to properly assess whether surface water is suitable for drinking water. For example, surface water often contains a lot of iron (the water that comes from the tap turns red or copper-colored) as well as bacteria. These bacteria thrive in a warm climate... And are therefore increasing rapidly in Spain.

Treatment
Surface water can be treated using a filter with activated carbon. If this is not sufficient, we should consider an ultrafiltration system. More info: info@sens-servicios.com or +34744724232
Groundwater
General information
Groundwater also contains a lot of iron, as well as manganese. Furthermore, groundwater can even smell like 'rotten eggs'. This could mean that there is hydrogen sulfide in the water. The amount of nitrites/nitrates may also be too high. Finally, groundwater is also very calcareous.

Treatment
Groundwater treatment starts with a water analysis. A pH measurement is necessary. Depending on these results, we choose the right treatment. If the groundwater can be drawn from deep enough, treatment with a drinking water filter is often sufficient. Any bacteria can be eliminated with a UV filter. Of course, there are even more advanced treatments. Limescale removal is done with a water softener.

Rainwater
General information
Rainwater is generally relatively pure. It may contain bacteria, but the biggest problem with rainwater is the odor and color, which are not always pleasant.

Treatment
Rainwater can be treated by installing an activated carbon filter. This filter neutralizes the odor and color of the water. Bacteria can be combated using a UV lamp. More info: info@sens-servicios.com or +34744724232
